FOR STUDENTS

Erasmus incoming students need to register to our system, but in order to be able to do so, we need to receive from partner university nomination with students' data. AWF Warsaw accepts nominations for Winter semester by May 1st and for Spring semester by November 1st. We can offer only studies in Bachelor and Masters degree, we can't accept students for internships. Nominated students should represent B2 level of English language. On response to the nomination we send information about AWF's recruitment procedure.  On-line registration is compulsory (possible only when the recruitment term is opened). We have no possibility of opening registration system after the terms of registration.

Students applying for the 1st semester register from May 1st till May 25th

Students applying for the 2nd semester register from November 1st till November 23rd

Listed below documents are required for online registration:

  • copy of valid ID card or Passport (for non-UE students);
  • copy of EHIC (European Health Insurance Card) or/and private insurance;
  • 1 passport type (formal) photo (taken by a professional photographer) for issuing student ID card.

Electronic Student’s ID And Photo important information

The ID card is a very important document, because it gives students a fare reduction of 50% for public transport (buses, metro, trams) and it is used as an electronic ticket (electronic card). Student ID cards can be prepared only for students till 26 years of age. The cost of production of student ID card is 22 PLN; in case of production of the student ID card duplicate the cost is 33 PLN. After the end of  Erasmus studies, students are obligated to return their student ID cards to International Office.

For your student ID card you need to take the ID/passport type photo in a professional photo studio, because most of the self-made photos have either shades or colour background or shine. Without professional taken photo, you won’t be able to receive your ID. To avoid mistakes, samples of correct and incorrect photos can be found under this link:

Follow Strictly The Instructions Regarding The Requirements For The Photo

The photos you provide with your completed application must be less than six months old and must meet the following requirements:

- Image of a person sized such that the head is between 70% and 80% of the image's total height from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head

- Digital form -  jpg format,  300x375 pixels, 50 kB

- Good quality, colour gloss prints

- Clear, focused image with no marks or ‘red eye’

- Plain, white background

- Uniform lighting (no shadows or reflections) with appropriate brightness and contrast to show skin tone naturally

- Face looking directly at the camera and not tilted in any direction

- Hair off the face so that the edges of the face are visible

- Eyes open

- Mouth closed

- Neutral expression (not smiling, laughing or frowning)

- Uniforms should not be worn in your photo, except religious clothing that is worn daily.

- Do not wear a hat or head covering that obscures the hair or hairline, unless worn daily for a religious purpose. Your full face must be visible, and the head covering must not cast any shadows on your face.

- Headphones, wireless hands-free devices, or similar items are not acceptable in your photo.

- If you normally wear glasses (without tinted lenses), a hearing device, or similar articles, they may be worn in your photo.

- Dark glasses or glasses with tinted lenses are not acceptable.

- Glare on glasses is not acceptable in your photo. Glare can be avoided with a slight downward tilt of the glasses or by removing the glasses or by turning off the camera flash.

Photos copied or digitally scanned from driver’s licenses or other official documents are not acceptable. In addition, snapshots, magazine photos, low quality vending machine or mobile phone photos, and full-length photographs are not acceptable.

Instruction For Registration To AWF System For Incoming Students (Erasmus SMS)

Important preparation! Please use computer instead of smartphone for this registration, it will take time, you are supposed to upload couple of attachment therefore the application on a telephone is more completed. Also, if you want to register with a friend who is coming with you to AWF Warsaw, use for registration separate computers (or at least, after the first registration delete cookies and whole history in your computer) as the system may join to one account registrations done on the same computer, one after another.

- When you enter the system, you will see a form of on-line application to our University. All questions marked with * are compulsory and the answers are indispensable. The whole registration is divided into couple of parts - forms. The first one is for establishing your account in the system the second one is an application with attachments.

- If you are not sure that you have completed each question box, you can press buton „Send application” and the missed boxes will turn red.

- You need to fill it in carefully, accurately and it must be complete (Application details, Personal data and Contact person). Please remember to put your full name and full surname, also spelling mistakes may cause problems, so take your time. If you miss any attachment your application will not be complete and if your attachment will not be correct (with wrong dates or wrong name of the Faculty Coordinator) it will be refused in next steps.

- In the section „Data concerning your studies” you need to choose your home University from the list and in the section „Information on the planned stay” you need to choose correct faculty and study field in AWF Warsaw.

- After completing all the boxes in this section, please check it again and confirm that your data is correct and you can send it by clicking box „Send application”.

- Correct completion of the form should result in the following information.

- To the email address that you have written in your application the system will send information about the correct creation of your account and the next part will be opened. You can fill in next part after pressing box „Login”. Please check SPAM box if the mail has not arrived in main mail box.

- By clicking on the link it will take you to the page where you can further proceed with your registration, you only need to enter the correct date of birth that you provided in the first form.

- Then, you need to write your new data (login and password) for your account.

- After writing down the data, you will receive information that the account has been created, click login to Mobility Online (please save the website address).

- On the application page, select the current one you want to work on and click "Select application".

- On the "Application workflow" page, fill in the following fields that appear:

(1) "Complete personal data" - complete contact details

- the next step is to add:

(2) a photo - Digital form -  jpg format,  300x375 pixels, 50 kB

(3) attach a scan of the insurance or EHIC (with dates of your mobility)

(4) passport\ID

(5) after two verifications of your data and your attachments you can expect emails and you will need to attach your „Learning agreement – Before Mobility”

And after uploading a correct Learning Agreement, you can expect a notification that your Learning Agreement has been accepted or if it is wrong the information will be sent that you need to prepare a new Learning Agreement. After acceptance of your Learning Agreement you will receive information that you are accepted for studies in AWF Warsaw and you can buy flight tickets.
