Partner in SENDIteach project 2023


SENDIteach project is focused to 3 main closely related topics: 1) digital competences of primary school teacher; 2) physical education (PE) class in primary school; and 3) inclusion of primary school pupils with special education needs (SEN). First of all, project consortium members will try to identify situation of teacher competences. The focus will be given to 2 groups of competences: information and communication technologies (ICT) and inclusive environment creation in PE lessons.  Analysis will be based on  teacher self-efficacy to create an inclusive educational environment. This analysis will allow to identify an existing competences gaps and to create a digitalized content for primary school teachers to work in inclusive PE class which will help to deal with the situation created by COVID-19 in each country. This project is designed to create new resources for primary education teachers to enhance their knowledge and abilities to maintain inclusive physical education class. It is expected that this project will spread an involvement of innovative practices in teacher everyday teaching practises and will bring an added value to the process of school education modernization, especially talking about education of children who have SEN.

SENDIteach project is based on partnership of Lietuvos Sporto Universitetas from Lithuania (Coordinator University), Ita-Suomen Yliopisto from Finland, Faculty of Rehabilitation at Jozef Pilsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw (AWF Warsaw) from Poland, The Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE) from Latvia.
