Physiotherapy

The studies are conducted at the University of traditions and experience, at the first European Rehabilitation Faculty. We have experienced and well-educated academic teachers and an excellent teaching and social base. Graduates of this field of study are prepared for independent work as physiotherapists. They use basic and clinical scientific knowledge to create, execute and validate the physiotherapy program for people with various dysfunctions – according to their clinical and functional condition.

Nursing

The BSc in nursing is awarded to a graduate of the 3-year undergraduate training in nursing. A graduate of the 2-year postgraduate studies in nursing receives the MSc in nursing. The graduate possesses knowledge of legal regulations, ethical and deontological norms relating to the nurse profession. She/he has also got general knowledge in the fields of medical sciences education, health sciences and physical culture sciences, as well as detailed knowledge of nursing.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy is a part of the science of health in a biopsychosocial approach. OT deals with multi-faceted rehabilitation, improvement of the physical, mental and social wellbeing of individuals and social groups by supporting participation in activities recognized by a person or a social group as valuable and meaningful. These activities are related to the areas of self-care and self-service, education and work, rest and leisure time activities which allow to participate in the social and economic life of the community. Occupational therapy is located in the areas of education within the fields of medical sciences, health sciences, and physical culture and social sciences. As a sphere of practical activity and scientific discipline, it requires an interdisciplinary approach to work individually and in multi-disciplinary teams.
